My mom just confessed to me about shoplifting all the time. And it has been going on for a long time

My mom is 76 years old. She is in good health but a little deaf. She is an elementary school teacher. She goes to the gym 4 days a week. She is a very good person. But she told me that she used to do a little shoplifting here and there. She never got arrested but she said that she was caught by security a few times and she talked her way out of it by saying she was going to buy it anyway. I think she also did it for the thrill of it. I told her that she was very cool and she had a big smile. She told me that everyone is going to die and none of us will be around after we are gone.
