My first time in Rome, what if I don't know any Italian?

I know this is stupid, but the fear is still there. I am planning a trip to Rome in the spring of 2024. What if I know absolutely nothing about Italian, and everyone I come across speaks exclusively Italian? I am confused by this because I was looking at some videos of Rome and basically everyone is speaking English. I have never traveled to a non-English speaking country before (except once, but a large majority of the country spoke English) and I am dumbfounded. I am glad that I can look to Reddit for advice.
