Do you have a well developed world but little to no story to tell within it?

I'm mostly a worldbuilder, but I have a passion project that i've been working on for 8 years that still has no plot. So I kinda want to know how common this is, and if you have a good story to tell in said world. This is basically aimed at people who create things like fictional countries, continents, planets or anything geography/history related.
