I have tried most drugs and am really disappointed by it all

I started using drugs at 14 years old and became fully weaned at 24 years old. I’ve tried over 200 drugs, and am saddened to report that I have not found a single drug that I enjoy.

The most enjoyable drug, for me, is alcohol. It is cheap, easy to access, and can be used for a variety of situations. It is absolutely hallowed and often considered a discovery of its own accord. It has a special place in society, and I fully agree with that. It is a wonderful drug.

I’ve tried many drugs multiple times because I kept hearing about how good they were. I’ve tried heroin, cocaine, and nicotine on more than 10 occasions, and found them to be consistently subpar. I check them regularly because I am really concerned that I am somehow genetically predisposed to not enjoy these drugs, and everyone else is just out of sight, out of mind. So far, with the exception of alcohol, I have not found a drug that I can use consistently.

I am not here to complain about drugs, but I genuinely feel that I am missing out on a fundamental experience that seems to be basically a fundamental part of the human experience at this point. I have many stories and memories about drugs, but none of them are positive.
