Why are gypsies such a big deal?

I know there’s a lot of hate for them. I can’t say I disagree with it. I know there are many white nationalists who get really mad about gypsies in Europe and the U.S. They seem to get really mad about them getting into the same public places as them and for a reason I can’t really understand. I can’t help but think this has to do with how they don’t look like us. They have different features and skin colors, so I’m sure many people have a hard time with that. <br><br>I don’t have any problem with them, and I can’t help but feel bad for how they’re treated. I have to admit it’s a little strange. They look different than everyone else, so what? So do the people in my neighborhood. I guess it’s because of the stereotypes and the news about them being thieves and scammers and that’s true, but that can be said for people of any ethnicity. I just don’t get why there’s such a strong hate for them, and why there are laws against them getting public assistance, which is unfair because they do work and they just don’t make much money, so they don’t have the money for rent. <br><br>I’m not saying they’re all good people. I’m sure there are some that are bad. Everyone has a choice, so I can’t feel too sorry for them. But I still think it’s unfair that they’re hated and treated like dirt, and that they have a hard time finding a place to live. They shouldn’t be judged as a whole, and it’s unfair that they don’t get the same opportunities as everyone else.
