I just got a job offer for a position I interviewed for 4 months ago. **4 months ago.**

I interviewed for that position for last school year.<br><br>I literally forgot about it by the 2nd month because the principal told me he was interviewing somebody else as well and would let me know either way. And then nothing. Not. A. Thing.<br><br>Meanwhile, I got hired to teach at a middle school. I'm essentially a glorified T.A. I assist 4 classes (2 special education, 2 English classes) I also teach one special education class with a paraeducator's help.<br><br>Today I get a call saying I got the job. Not only that, the T.A. position I'm currently in is about to be cut due to the district's budget. I would be essentially *jobless* by the end of this school year had I not applied for that position last year.<br><br>It's been a whirlwind and I am so overwhelmed and happy. I start in mid October.
