What Was She Planning To Do To Me?

This just happened yesterday, so forgive me if this story seems kind of confusing, I'm still pretty shook up and it's hard to think straight.

Yesterday, I was at my boyfriend's house with him and a few of his friends. One of his friends is in a band, and we were all hanging out listening to them practice and planning their next gig in the city.

I went out onto his front porch to have a smoke, and not two minutes later, a girl came walking down the street. Now, this house is out in the middle of nowhere. There's literally nothing for miles and miles. I thought it was a little strange that someone was out walking around with no car in sight.

When she saw me on the porch, she slowed down and asked me for directions. Now, I have an extremely shit sense of direction, so I told her I was sorry but I couldn't help myself because I didn't even know where we were. She kind of laughed and asked me where I was going, I told her I was just at a friends house, and she asked if she could come in and use the bathroom.

At this point, I'm not going to lie, I started to feel a little uneasy. She kept glancing around at the street, and it seemed like she was waiting for someone. I tried to play it cool and told her "Sure, but my boyfriend is in there, so...". I don't know what I even meant by that, I think I just wanted her to be aware that there was going to be a person in the house.

She thanked me and followed me in, and I told my boyfriend that she was going to use the bathroom. I pointed her in the direction of the bathroom, and when she closed the door, I went over to my boyfriend and told him that I had a bad feeling about this girl and I thought she might steal something, so I was going to check on her in a few min and make sure she was still in the bathroom.

Sure enough, when I went to check on her, she wasn't in the bathroom. My boyfriend started to look around the house for her, and I started to panic. I don't know what I thought she was going to do, but I just had the weirdest, scariest feeling from her.

We couldn't find her anywhere, and we were both getting so confused, until my boyfriend remembered that this girl had been walking down the road, so she must have left. I thought that maybe she had left through the back door, and we were both stupid for not thinking of that.

We stepped outside into the back yard, but there was no one there. After a few more minutes of searching, we gave up and decided to just let it go and forget about it. We went back inside and I told the band to keep playing.

Literally, not two minutes later, one of the band members came from the basement and was frantically looking around the house. I asked what was up, and he told me he was in the basement and he heard footsteps above him, but thought it was just us walking around.

Then, he heard my boyfriend and I outside, and not long after that he heard the back door open and shut. Again, he assumed it was us, but then he heard the sound of the closet door opening and shutting, and he knew that wasn't us.

When he came upstairs, "the girl" was gone, and there was no one anywhere. He thought that maybe she had left through the front door, but then again, where was she going to go? There's nothing around, and we're blocks away from the nearest street.

So we're all sitting there, dumbfounded. None of us have any idea what she was doing or where she went, and none of us ever want to find out.

Never, ever, EVER make yourself house sittting for some creepy girl on the street, it's not worth it.
