What do you guys think of the idea of a federal holiday for the day after the presidential election?

In my mind, the idea would be to give people the day off to go vote (or recover from staying up too late counting votes), similar to how Thanksgiving is to recover from a long weekend, or New Years Day to recover from staying up too late.<br><br><br><br>It would probably have to be the day before if people want to stay up late to count votes. Not sure though. I’m no expert.
