Your wife was rescued by the police. The moment she was safe they called to inform you of the details of her rescue - but the police wouldn't just stop at that. They will make it a point to explain a few details such as the amount of ransom you paid, how long she was held captive, and the amount of information they got from her. You are obviously happy that your wife is safe, but you can't help but feel a little annoyed at the police.<br><br>What could they have possibly done to annoy you? (You may also include the ransom part)<br><br>Edit: a lot of comments talk about the police ransom part. I didn't expect this to happen but the police IS allowed to keep any remaining ransom money (although you will get your money back if the ransom is paid by your insurance - provided that you pay your premiums on time)
