AI is Fake Science and not a substitute for human intelligence and creativity

I'm not talking about tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, DALL·E or Stable Diffusion that use real data, but the AI hype surrounding many fields that claim they're making AI that can replace humans.

Not a day goes by without reading an article claiming "AI beats human" in a particular field, whether it's music, art, science or even medicine. But no one argues with the fact that the AI's output is just a recombination of the training sets. This is not intelligence. This is not science. We have been blessed with the gift of AI tools that can help us create more efficiently and quickly, but all the output is based on what has already been created before.

There's nothing that a machine can create today that hasn't been created and/or seen before by humans, so you don't need to worry that with the rise of AI tools you'll lose your job, and that's the paradox of all this AI hype, and paradoxically it's the machines that are most vulnerable to losing their jobs.

Contrary to what people think and claim, we don't live in a simulation, but in a reality created by laws and rules that govern our universe. What exists is what has always existed and what will exist is what has always existed. In other words, everything that exists or has existed once will continue to exist forever, and everything that exists now, has existed before, and everything that will exist, has existed before and will continue to exist forever.

This is how the universe works, so in the context of AI systems, everything that exists can be used to create other things, but nothing more than what exists, or rather, is/was created by humans throughout history (because of course, humans are part of the universe and are subject to its laws and rules and have therefore always been part of the raw material that can be used).

But what is the point of all this AI hype if we can't create anything new, and paradoxically, the output is no more than what the raw material is, and this is where science and human intelligence come in. Science and human intelligence are what make us capable of creating new things, and what makes us capable of imagining things that do not exist.

AI systems can't create anything new or think outside the box, they only work within the limits of what they know, i.e. what was there before, and they don't know what they don't know about. The only AI that is truly capable of thinking is the one that exists in science fiction, and it is only the daydreaming of humans.
