My dad and I were almost kidnapped at a mall

This happened about a year ago when I was 13. I was out shopping for my birthday and my dad and I were  walking by a kids clothing store in the mall when 2 grown men approached me  and started talking to me. They asked me what I was doing here and I said "I'm just shopping with my dad", I was expecting my dad to turn around at anytime  from hearing me say that but when I turned around to find him he was gone. I figured that he must have walked away from me for a second so I continued talking to the 2 men, my dumb 13 year old ass didn't know what to do at the time. When I finally got suspicious I said goodbye to the 2 men and began searching  the mall. I couldn't find my dad anywhere so I decided to go to the entrance of the mall and wait for him. I stood there for what felt like hours calling and texting him. After I finally got a hold of him, he said he had reported me missing when he couldn't find me. The mall security came and got me and took me to a back room and waited with me for my dad to come and pick me up. He said he was looking for me everywhere and asked people if they had seen me, but no one had. I was really worried that I might have been kidnapped and held for ransom.
