The Singularity is coming way faster than I thought it would.

I've believed in the singularity coming since 2015, but I thought it would take decades. No longer. I hope I'm wrong because it's terrifying. I don't know if we will develop intelligent enough AI fast enough to control the ASI before it's too late. We've gone from GPT 3 to GPT 4 in less than 2 years. This was supposed to take a LONG time. I honestly think it's less than 5-7 years until we hit the singularity.

Bard just released a while back, then the day it released, ChatGPT 4 and Claude 3 came out. There was no more progression, it was a leap. GPT-4 is so good, and I don't know how it could possibly be better, but it's wrong. The next GPT has to be a leap like GPT 4 was.

And if this isn't enough evidence, Claude 3, Perplexity, and Gemini are being released with plugins. We're going from opening up a chat to getting things done. It's amazing to watch, but terrifying. I honestly think it's less than 5-7 years until we hit the singularity.

If I'm right, we won't hit the singularity in 2040, we will hit it in 2030. We are already losing jobs at an incredible rate, and so many other jobs that were deemed safe are not. Ai can already do so much. You don't need to be good at anything to have help. You just need to be able to give instructions. What jobs are left?

In less than 10 years, we will have the greatest technological, social, and economic shift in the history of man. I'm getting ready.
