I stole a mans computer with his wife inside

Back when I was in high school I got grounded a lot, but I thought i was so cool so I tried to sneak out every night. One night I decided to take my friend with me as he had snuck out as well and was at my house. We decided to walk down the street when we noticed one of the houses was extremely unorganized. There were boxes of stuff all over the place and some of the boxes had been thrown out onto the yard. We walked up and there was a little girl watching a movie while there was a laptop open on the floor. Me, being stupid, decided to steal it. So I grab the laptop and put it inside my jacket and start to run away, my friend asks me what we are doing so I tell him I stole a laptop. The little girl is screaming and her dad comes out. He yells at us and the neighbors come out. I throw the laptop at the little girl and run. I was so scared. Never did i steal again.
