The 20th century saw two global wars that killed hundreds of millions of people. It saw tyrants. It saw economic collapse and widespread depression. It saw the invention and first use of atomic weapons.

Now, I know the 21st century has not been anywhere near perfect as we've had wars in the Middle East and terrorism. Climate change is a huge issue. There is still a lot of political polarization on a global scale. But we have also seen positive trends. Advances in technology have led to a doubling of life expectancy, improvements in medicine, and much cheaper access to information and entertainment. There has also been a colossal overall improvement in education for women.

So the question here pretty much speaks for itself. Do you believe the world has changed for the better over the past hundred years?
