Too many people on this platform have a misinformed view on poverty.

It’s not a lack of money, it’s a lack of financial security, it’s a lack of *financial autonomy*, it’s a lack of a way to make money, it’s a lack of financial mobility.<br><br>I think most people on this platform have not dealt with poverty, maybe it’s the whole **“I think I spend 50 a *month”*** problem, where you spend **$600 each *year***, not bad, that’s my food budget for a *week*.<br><br>$600 a month is poverty, and in the US, it’s effectively middle class. <br><br>AgI *will* change this, radically. If you want to help, then you should start fighting for a UBI, because right now we’re fighting against the concept, and it’s the best idea out there to combat this problem. Some people in this thread give me a certain feeling of “I’m doing nothing, because we shouldn’t make things better for others, because it’ll cost me something *possible in the future***”.
