I stole thousands of dollars as a personal shopper.

I was a personal shopper, I stole thousands of dollars worth of food, housewares, and anything my family needed. I would also use a coupon scam on a lot of orders to get free stuff. Most of my jobs were always groceries. I would always make sure the customer ordered a lot of things. I had the same customers sometimes and I would make sure to always say “I’m not sure if your [insert item here] came in yet, you know how [insert store name] is”<br><br>When I did that sometimes they would let me just say “I can get them a refund for it”<br><br>I would always try to get a lot of my items in a hand basket. Everything else went in the cart for the customer so that they didn’t notice me putting things in my car. I would take only a few things at a time. <br><br>I did this for 4 years and they never saw it. They did have a lot of issues on this location with a customer service representative. She had been working there for a long time so they assumed it was her and fired her. Now I am not saying she is innocent, I have heard she has taken things before. But I feel bad they treated her like that.<br><br>I don’t work there anymore. I have a good job now and I am doing a lot better, thankfully. I am sorry to anyone who was effected by this.
