AITA for not telling my daughter I moved while she was at camp?

I have a daughter, Emma, who was born with a complex medical condition. She needed a lot of care and attention the first few years of her life, and as a result I sold my business to devote my time to her. I was able to make a little money on the side doing consulting work, but the biggest part of my time was spent caring for Emma. <br><br>Because of her condition, we were only able to move to places that were very close to her specialists, and as a result we moved several times over the first six years of her life. Now that she is older, we were finally able to move back to a city I owned my business in, and I was able to get back into it. <br><br>Because I was working to get the business going again, I didn't have a lot of time to devote to Emma anymore, and she has been missing the one-on-one time she used to have me. She was very excited to be back in the city where my mom lives, and she loves seeing her grandma. <br><br>I was able to get my business running well enough to take some time off and get our new house in order. Emma had signed up to go to theater camp for a week in July, so I took a week off to get everything set up and organized. <br><br>The problem is that my business is on the other side of town from where we were living. I was driving home from work every night to a house that was empty while I commuted to the business I owned. It only made sense to move closer to the business, and I was able to get a good deal on a house very close to my business. <br><br>So while Emma was at camp, I hired movers to pack the furniture and boxes and I moved us. <br><br>I didn't tell her beforehand because I was afraid it would wreck her camp experience. I also didn't tell anyone she knew because it was a hard secret to keep, and I didn't want to discuss it beforehand. <br><br>When I picked her up from camp, I told her about the move and took her to the new house. She was livid. I couldn't believe how angry she was. She stopped talking to me for days, and has only recently started talking to me again. <br><br>I just wanted to know if I was an asshole for not telling her ahead of time. It's been really stressful, and I'm afraid I made a mistake.
