The state of marriage in modern society: women are not the ones who demand husbands to become their personal providers.

I often see posts here demonizing marriage and painting house husbands as abusive tyranns who force their wives to become a personal provider, slave, maid, cook, breeder, caregiver, etc. etc. This is not the truth.<br><br>Marriage has to be a mutual activity where both partners contribute equally to the relationship, meaning they both work and they both do the household chores. The state of modern marriage is perfect example of the patriarchy where women are forced to be personal providers and caregivers for their HUSBANDS AND FAMILIES, not the other way around. It is men who demand to be provided for, to have their partners be their personal maids, chefs, and sex workers. And women who refuse to comply will be punished socially and they will be seen as lazy bitches. It is not the women who demand to be provided for, it is men. This is why you see so many comments of male rights activists shouting "men do all the work, women do not". Men do not do all the work. They only do the work that is socially seen as valuable, such as working in a factory or office, they do not do the invisible work that keeps a family alive, such as cleaning, cooking, and taking care of children.
