I've decided to stop buying from manufacturers who have sold out to investment firms

Companies like HW and Remington have been owned by conglomerates for a long time. Companies like LWRC, HK, and others were sold to conglomerates.

In some ways, this is just how the market operates, but it seems to me that a lot of these conglomerates have a mission to suck the money out of an industry, and then move on.

This seems to be part of the "effect of having investment firms holding shares of many weapon companies, and how they use that to influence said companies rising in value by increasing production efficiency and 'raising prices due to supply and demand'". I'd like to hear from you all how you think that affects weapon pricing.

I can't stop that, but I can stop being part of the problem, by not buying new from those companies. I'll still buy used if I can, but I think it's important to stop buying new from companies that have been consolidated.
