Can one give consent for future ethical violations?

It is possible that there may be a time when humanity can become something more than it currently is. This may come in the form of technology that advances beyond the control of human ethics, like a superintelligent AI, or it may come from the end of the need for survival, like a post-scarcity society. In such a future where humanity is no longer the central ethical unit, what are we able to consent to? Do we have any ethical limitations that would restrict the ability of our future humanity to make decisions that violate current ethical understanding?
