My girlfriend swears she remembers me proposing to her in a park on one knee in front of a lake with the sunset behind us. I don't ever remember this happening. We live in an apartment and don't live anywhere near a park or lake, so that would've been a big trip for us.

My girlfriend of 2 years swears that she remembers me proposing to her in a park on one knee in front of a lake with the sunset behind us. She swears this is a real memory of hers. We don't even live near a park like that. I don't think we even have a single park like that in our whole state. We clearly don't even own a car, we both live in an apartment, and I don't remember ever even going to a park like that in my entire life. <br><br>She has no proof of this happening, no photos, just her memory. I don't even have the money to plan a trip like that, let alone buy a ring. She mentions it every once in awhile and says that's a memory she'll always have, but I have no recollection of it ever happening at all. I've been with her for 2 whole years now. Is it possible this is a real memory of hers and I just don't remember it? I don't even have enough money to afford a plane ticket, let alone plan a proposal on one knee in front of a lake with a ring. I want to believe her but I just can't.
