I recently discovered a FB group where women in my country swap and give away items they no longer want. The idea is that Charity shops in our country are often just dumping most of what they get. Everything is calculated on the amount of items collected and not the amount of items sold. So items are being given away and swapped instead of going to landfills.

I'm also 6 months postpartum and from the looks of it my waist won't be returning anytime soon. Anyways, i swapped some of the clothes that are still in great condition with other women and also gave away a bunch more. All of the clothes that were in a 6 or under size.

My husband saw that I was swapping/giving stuff away and asked me not to, saying that the clothes can be adapted to my new life. He was talking more about the nice things we purchased for our honeymoon. Anyways, I told him that he has no right to dictate what I do with my clothes and that he should focus on his own.

He has a bunch ofJerry where he keeps his shirts and pants from before he worked out. I told him if he wants to keep my clothes so badly he should put them in his Jerry so that they are preserved for when I get where he wants me to be. He looked at me really weird and said I should not give away my clothes so easily because fashion trends tend to repeat themselves. I asked him how he would know and he didn't respond.

This morning he was in a really bad mood and told me he will have to do some serious shopping for me since I gave away all my clothes. I asked him to stop it with the clothes because honestly it was starting to freak me out and he said he was just trying to have a conversation with his wife.

Honestly, I'm really lost as to how to approach him about this. I have never heard of a man being so fixated on a woman's wardrobe.
