(My brother's) home invaded by fake police officers.

One early morning, when my brother was about 14 (he's 19 now), he was awoken to the sound of his bedroom door opening. There were two men in suits, both armed with police batons and pistols. They said they were the police, and that they needed to search his room. My brother didn't question their authority, and so he allowed them to search. They found nothing, but they told him to get in his bed and stay there. He did, and one of the men kept an eye on him. <br><br>National news revealed the next day that both of the men were arrested for impersonation. They had managed to impersonate police officers in multiple houses, taking personal belongings and one other person with them. The other person never came forward, and neither did my brother. We're thankful that the police found them before they could come back for him. <br><br>My brother and I still live in the same neighborhood. The other day, I was walking back from the park when I saw two men in suits walking towards me. I immediately stopped in my tracks. It was two cops. I didn't say anything to them. It's been years, but this story is still fresh in my mind.
