My wife wanted to watch Attack on Titan or My Hero Academia

I am a 30 year old that used to watch anime in high school. Anime was more limited at the time but there were some shows I really enjoyed like Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Blue Exorcist, and Dragon Ball. I didn't watch much anime anymore until I got married.<br><br>A few months ago my wife wanted to try an anime show for me to try with her. I gave her two options: Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia. She chose Attack on Titan and we watched the entire season a few times. She really loved it and enjoyed the emotional depth of the characters and the plot.<br><br>I think it was good for her to see the difference between anime and american tv shows with how emotional depth is presented. In attack on titan it seems to quickly switch between super emotional and super violent. Have you thought of anything like this before while watching anime?<br><br>Either way I'm glad I got to introduce her to Attack on Titan, it's definitely a great show.
