Invading My Personal Space (In front of my boyfriend)

The first time that I met my boyfriend, he told me that something creepy had happened on his 5 minute walk home. He said 'A girl was walking past me and her boyfriend grabbed her head and then dragged her into their house. There was no struggle.' He didn't see it clearly as it was dark and he was walking away from the scene, but I was on the same route today and had a similar experience that has left me really freaked out.<br><br>I was walking along a pavement in a quiet street when I became aware that someone was behind me. At first, I thought that they were just walking in the same direction as me but when the pavement got narrower, I could tell that they were edging closer and closer to the right side of my body. Without turning my head, I edged away from them. They edged closer, their arm almost touching mine. I edged away again, and they did exactly the same. That's when I panicked, but decided to wait it out and see what they did next. I was surrounded by houses, but none of the lights were on and I was too high up to go into a garden. I continued walking, but verrrry slowly to see whether they would make their move. I could feel their eyes on me and I heard a gentle laugh. When I saw a turning up ahead, I slowly started to veer to the right, verrrryyy slowly, but when I reached the corner, I turned quickly into the road and started walking faster. That's when I looked back and saw a boyfriend/girlfriend, maybe in their 30s, getting frustrated that I had disappeared from view. The guy was white and the girl was black, and they both looked like they came from a good background. For some reason, I don't think that they are from this country. I'm not sure what they were going to do, but I'm grateful that I can take this as a near miss.<br><br>&#x200B;
