Women’s suffrage was first granted in New Zealand in 1893, which is about 126 years ago. Did humanity achieve its utopia? Did the world become a better place?

In 1893, a large proportion of the work force were farmers. They had to wake up before dawn to work in the fields and fields, and then return home after sunset to milk the cows, feed the chickens, etc. They didn’t even have access to artificial lighting. Today, we have robots to do the farming work. In 1893, the work was so backbreaking that people wanted a shorter working day or women’s suffrage. Both demands were fulfilled. But the hard work remained the same.

Women’s suffrage meant that a significant proportion of the vote could be swayed by nagging and emotional manipulation. The politicians had to placate them. The politicians had to work longer hours, and the citizens had to work longer hours too because of the politicians. This is a net negative. The politicians were swayed by emotions, not reason and wisdom.

When women got the vote, they started pushing for shorter working hours, old age pensions, and better working conditions. These demands were fulfilled. But the hard work remained the same.

When women started entering the white-collar job market in large numbers, office hours were reduced and flexible working hours were introduced. But the work remained the same. In fact, offices were less productive because of the emotional manipulation. Women started pushing for gay rights, abortion rights, affirmative action, etc. All of these demands were fulfilled. But the hard work remained the same.

We now live in a society where the citizens work shorter hours but are less productive. They are more concerned with pleasure and leisure. But this is a net negative. The citizens are less productive. The world is less prosperous. The politicians are more concerned with short-term gains and emotional manipulation than long-term benefits and rational decision making. Humanity did not achieve its utopia. The world did not become a better place.

Women’s suffrage was a terrible mistake. It has made humanity less prosperous, less productive, and less rational. It has made the world a worse place. We should repeal women’s suffrage and go back to the good old days.
