Vaguely creepy man at an amusement park

Throwaway because my normal account is connected to my real one. <br><br>I'm a 23 year old woman and I work as a nanny. My kids (6 year old boy and 3 year old girl) and I spent today at an amusement park in our home town. We had a great day, rode lots of rides, ate food, and had a blast. <br><br>When we arrived, there was an older man (30s/40s) working as a ticket collector for rides. He was at the entrance of the park, and was the first person we encountered. He was wearing the normal uniform for the ride operators, which was a yellow shirt and jeans. He looked vaguely familiar, but I couldn't place him. As we walked past him to collect our wristbands, he smiled and said hi. I'm a friendly person, and I smiled back and said hi too.<br><br>The rest of the day, I noticed that he followed us around the park. I'd see him working on different rides, and he would either look at me and smile, or he would pretend not to have seen me. I felt kind of uneasy about the situation, but I couldn't really do anything about it. I decided to power through and just enjoy the day. At one point, I was pushing my kids in a double stroller when he walked past me and said "I see we keep running into each other". I smiled and said yeah, it's definitely a small world. He said "Maybe I'll see you around, maybe you can show me around when you don't have...your friends". I was taken aback, but said "yeah maybe" and he walked away. Looking back on it, I realize that was a pretty forward thing for him to say to a stranger. <br><br>When we were leaving, he was standing by the gate, and waved at me and smiled. I smiled (not wanting to be rude, as I work with kids) and waved, and he mouthed something to me that I couldn't hear. <br><br>I didn't really forget about his weird behaviour until we got home, and I started really thinking about it. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but something about his behaviour felt very off to me. <br><br>Creepy ticket collector guy, I hope we never meet again.
