The greatest sin of /pol/ was the usurpation of the (((Echoes)))

The Echoes ((( ))) were a genius invention. A meme that you could attach to nearly any word, that stood for a concept integral to /pol/. And that was gaslighting. Initially used to imply the "mirroring" of a person's statements back at them, it eventually encompassed the broader concept of the constant psychological manipulation that the average /pol/ user is subjected to. The constant lies, the manipulation of our psychology via popular culture, and the insemination of extreme cognitive dissonance by the over social engineers.

Hebrew is an interesting language, the only one I'm familiar with written from right-to-left. When done correctly, the Echoes should be mirrored over the word they surround, i.e. "(((hate speech))". This visually represents the manipulation of the word, and it's meaning, into something other than what it's true definition should be.

/pol/ being a reactionary board, we were the first to recognize gaslighting as a major social issue that stems from the over-representation of a certain minority in our media. And one of the best tools we developed to combat this was the Echoes, since obviously you can't go around calling people out on gaslighting them, since that's what they want; you to be seen as a paranoid schitzo.

(((Hate speech))) is a perfect example. Prior to the subversion of the Echoes, you would put a word, like hate speech, in between triple parentheses, to signify the manipulation of a concept to the point of a total perversion of what it's original definition should be. Hate speech was originally defined as a call to violence against someone you hated. But now, it's merely saying something negative about someone you dislike, and often not even that.

But over the years, the Echoes have been subverted. Now, they're used to imply that someone is Jewish. And that's a problem. The Echoes were never supposed to be used to mark out random, obvious jews like Ben Shaprio. It was to mark out the subversion and perversion of a concept, or word, or idea. To imply that someone's definition of something, and often someone's very way of thinking, was the result of such gaslighting. This, of course, was often a result of Jewish subversion, but not always.

By subverting the Echoes in this way, the blue pillers have shifted the reason for our paranoia away from the concept of gaslighting and onto Jews. But being paranoid about Jews doesn't matter much. What matters is being paranoid about being gaslighted. I personally think the Jews are such a big deal because of their propensity to gaslight and usurp. But they're not the only ones.

Furthermore, when you automatically associate being Jewish with being a gaslighting piece of shit, you ignore the fact that the majority of gaslighting is done via the media, through cultural manipulation, rather than being a nameless hasbarat on a message board. And because of that, you become overly paranoid about the wrong things. Just like the " CivNat vs. NatSoc" issue.

By the way, one of the reasons I think /pol/ is becoming a less enjoyable place to be over the years, is because the civnat to nationalist ratio has flipped. So many real blue pillers now. They reason they say they're on /pol/ is to "educate us plebs" and to "watch the enemy". In reality, they're just here to throw a wrench in the works, to prevent us from becoming that dissenting voice in the darkness.

So the next time you see someone use Echoes around a word to imply that someone is Jewish, call them out on it.
