What if the 17th century Dutch Republic had conquered England in the 17th century?

What if the Dutch had been able to conquer England and bring it into the United Provinces as a new province in, say, 1652 or 1673?<br><br>What cultural changes would have happened in the UK, if the UK was just a region of the Netherlands? Would the English people be able to integrate with the Dutch, and become Dutch?<br><br>What would have happened to the English language? Would the English language have become a regional dialect of the Dutch language? Or would Dutch have become a regional dialect of English?
