I must say I have read tons of heroin stories of ex junkies and they say how bad it is, how evil it is, how it destroyed their life, how they want it banned, how they wish they never took it, etc.

I'll believe that being a heroin addict, and being an addict in general is a bad thing. But that doesn't mean the drug itself is bad. The same way i can't blame guns for a mass shooting, or blame a steak for making an alcoholic drink.

Its bad because they let it get the best of them.

Edit: To summarize and response to many of you: addiction is real and i'm going to go ahead and say i believe it 100%. However I put partial fault on the individual that made the decision to start a drug. As well as the environment that surrounds the individual. Yes heroin is dangerous and I will admit that and, of course no drug is totally safe except maybe caffeine. This is just a perspective of how I see it.
