This sub's obsession with Isekai and Light Novels is baffling.

I've been scrolling down for the last 10 minutes. All I see are shitty Light Novels and Isekai being recommended left and right: Sword Art Online, Sword in the Stone, Overlord, Re_zero, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, In Another World with My Smartphone, KonoSuba, The Saint's Magic Ability is Omnipotent (OMG what the hell is this one), The Eighty Six, Arifureta, The Rising of the Shield Hero, The Misfit of Demon King Academy, No Game No Life, Black Summoner, Jobless Reincarnation, Ascendence of a Bookworm, My Death Flags Show No Sign of Ending… <br><br>All I wanted was a simple list of quality anime to watch. Nothing too complicated, but no, instead I'm bombarded with these weeby cliche bullshit shows that will never see the light of day. Sure some of you may like it, but many of these shows are nearly unwatchable; how can you possibly recommend them? You know what's the worst part of all of this? It's that most of these shows aren't even quality shows. They're borderline anime, if that. Pure trash that wouldn't even last 2 seasons if it were to be produced outside of Japan.<br><br>Reddit, why the fuck do you love garbage so much? <br><br>Edit: Holy shit this blew up.
