Last night a man broke into my house and then had a psychotic episode and killed himself in front of me.

Last night a man broke into my house, he was armed with a knife and took me hostage. My husband respectfully asked him if he could show him a cat video on his phone, the man got obsessed with the video and started a psychotic episode. He went into my spare room and slit his throat with the knife and died in front of me. I don't know if I should be angry at him, relieved that he's gone, or be upset for him.
