They're not christians

You hear it a lot from those on the right. They're not christians, they're just masquerading as them for political reasons. If you read about christians, the things they have done and do, it's amazing. Jesus was a peace activist and demanded the rich give to the poor. Real christians do amazing things. All the ones I know do.<br><br>But the ones calling themselves christians are not doing that. We shouldnt really call them christians.<br><br>If they want to call themselves christians, they should do so in the most meek and humble way. <br><br>Jesuses public commands, in the book of Matthew, were to:<br><br>Feed the people.<br><br>Heal the sick. (spend all your money)<br><br>Bring sight to the blind.<br><br>Preach the good news.<br><br>Free the slaves.<br><br>Bring peace on earth.<br><br>And last, raise the dead.<br><br>If you're not doing these things, then you're not a christian. The people you see on TV hanging on to the words of a dirty politician are not christians. They're not doing any of the things jesus called his disciples to do.
