Fast forward to 2018, I worked for a company developing robot security personnel. I won’t say which company it was. But I was part of a team that worked in the “behavioral aspect” of the robot. <br><br>We were testing the robots to disarmed and apprehend people. We had a dummy mock up town set up in a warehouse. <br><br>The training was successful, we were ready to ship them out. I asked my colleague if they were worried that these robots would end up killing people. Or if the manufacturers would end up sending these robots to war. <br><br>My colleague just looked at me and said “that’s the whole point.”
