I’m a pizza guy and I had a breakdown

I deliver pizza but today I had a breakdown. I had a delivery to a house which was in a sketchier part of town. My job is so stressful and I’m already at a breaking point today. I stepped onto the porch and there’s a man sitting on the open porch in the middle of the day with a gun slung over his shoulder. I was so terrified and I started to shake so bad. I knocked on the door and the man came to the door...with the gun on his shoulder. I try to hand him the pizza and he says “oh, you want me to pay you?” I was so messed up and I said “yes, I don’t want to die today.” He just kinda stared and said “yeah, you’re a nice kid.” I walked back to the car and just broke down. I almost cried. And you know what the punchline is? He tipped me $5 and said “I got you bro. Stay safe out there.”
