I don't understand the relationship between owos and art

So I sort of get the relationship between owos and music. Owos are artists who make "uwu" music, which is often heavily electronic, and is usually like a weird mishmash between different electronic styles, such as dance, house, pop, d'n'b, and rave. But I don't understand the deal with owos and art. Why does the style follow the same "uwu" aesthetic as the music does? The only style that the art really seems to take from is bratz dolls, but it seems to ignore the rest of art history, and instead focuses on its own in_group references, inside jokes, and art styles that have been hyper filtered through an internet lens until the point where it just looks hyper realistic. Like, yeah it's "uwu" but it doesn't really feel like it's connected to anything real. It's like internet postmodernism, but devoid of any meaning or purpose. It just feels like meaningless nonsense.
