Anyone with a decent understanding of brain uploading and image recognition technology?

I'm not sure if the tech to upload a brain to a virtual world is actually a feasible project. From my understanding, is it more like figuring out how to create a standard highfidelity image of anything?<br><br>I understand brain uploading as image recognition of phase states. Just like image recognition is all part of a pixelated puzzle, the idea is figuring out what the 'pixels' of neuronal phase states are, and recognizing patterns that would lead to the ability to scan and map brain signals high fidelity like a good image recognition algorithm; essentially like an AI algorithm that would increase the resolution with each iteration, maybe not actually a computation but more like an idea or pattern recognition. <br><br>But I have no idea if this is the correct interpretation of the goals of brain uploading.
