I'm a preschool teacher for 1 year olds. The other day snack time came by and parent after parent would drop off their child for the day and had snack/meal for them in a lunch box. But a good handful of parents would hand me a Ziploc filled with some regular snacks gold fish, cheese stick, fruit ect but I've come to realize a lot of parents are giving their 1 year olds snack sticks like hot Cheetos, flaming hot pretzel sticks, corn nuts ect. one 1 year old had Doritos in snack..I don't get it. Do parents snack with their kids and give them whatever they are eating even if its not good for them? I'm not trying to be a snack police or a weight watcher for kids but I just don't get this.
