CMV: The expectation that a man should be able to cook is ridiculous.

If a woman who cannot cook is considered a disaster in this day and age, what is a man who cannot cook? I am not saying that women should have to cook, but the question is: why should men? If we’re so equal, why can’t a man hire a cook, and why isn’t hiring a cook a more common thing?<br><br>This isn’t meant to be a hostile post, but I have noticed a trend in the dating scene where the expectation that a man should be able to cook really well is going up, and that is unfair. Why? I’m sorry but I think men should be allowed to outsource a skill. <br><br>EDIT: it’s not the learning that’s the issue, it’s the expectation that men are expected to be do it and they are pathetic if they don’t. That’s the problem.
