LPT: Always keep a 5 dollar McDonald's McDonald's gift card.

I usually keep it in my wallet. Sometimes someone will ask me for bus fare, and I'll give them the card and tell them to use it for their fare, and whatever is left over they can use for a meal. They seem to like the idea of a free meal instead of cash.
