My (31F) boyfriend (39M) who I’ve known since I was 8 and is friends with my brother who is 34, isn’t even friends with me on Facebook anymore and it’s really upsetting me.

My boyfriend and I have been together since February this year. Before we started dating, he was just a friend and I’ve known him since I was 8. I’m now 31 and curious to know if anyone has been in a similar situation. My brother is 34 and has known my boyfriend since he was 8 (they’re lifelong friends). The reason I bring my brother into this is that they’re still friends. My brother and my boyfriend are both on my boyfriend’s friends list and my boyfriend is also on my brother’s friends list. <br><br>The issue is that my boyfriend who was on my friends list, has removed me from his list. I got suspicious when my boyfriend’s profile photo changed and I wasn’t notified of this update. This usually happens when you’re friends with someone and you can always see their profile photo changes. I thought maybe he blocked me but that wasn’t the case. I could still view his profile and I only removed myself from his friends list because I just felt so bad that he had decided to remove me from his list. <br><br>I confronted my boyfriend about it and he said it was a mistake and that he didn’t intentionally unfriend me. There’s no way he would’ve unfriended me accidentally since he’s been friends with me since 2009. Also, he hasn’t even made his profile private and hasn’t set his profile photo to only be viewed by his friends. I asked him if he was ok with me seeing who was on his list and he said yes. I checked his friends list and there I was on his friends list as a pending request. <br><br>What I found odd was that my boyfriend and I both made our requests to each other at the same time which is 1 hour ago (he made his request to me an hour ago and I did the same). I asked him why his request was made at the same time as mine was and his response was “I don’t know” and that I should’ve just accepted his request instead of asking him about it. This whole situation is just strange and I feel like I’m losing my mind over this. I feel like I should just end things at this point but I’m just so confused as to why he’s doing this and I feel like I’m just going crazy overthinking everything. Does anyone have any advice for me?
