Philosophy is standing in a crowd of people, and everyone is shouting "Everyone is wrong! Follow me, I am right!"<br><br>You look left and see a man shouting "No, I see the truth! They are all wrong! Come with me!" And you consider him, but he is wrong too. And then you look right and see a woman shouting to the crowd. "NO! Everyone else is wrong, come with me, I know the way! Bring your money too, it is required to see the truth." And when you look straight ahead of you, you see a mountain. It is tall and steep, and it looks like it might topple, but it is the only thing that doesn't seem to be shouting. <br><br>And you consider standing still, and staying where you are. But the voices are so convincing, and everyone is shouting at you to go with them. So you look at the options, all of them, and then you make a decision.
