So, the security checkpoints in airports have security cameras but not all of them are constantly monitored, it is only when someone is alerted on a anomaly that an employee checks the camera. I was in the security line and was getting ready to get screened when an employee asked me if I was traveling with someone else, I said yes and he told me to tell them that they are clearing my bag in the x-ray machine, I rushed to my wife and told her what he said and at that point the employee had already taken my bag out of the x-ray machine and returned it to me, then I came back with my wife and an employee looked at the x-ray machine screen and then started to look at the x-ray machine screen and the camera, then the employee kept looking for someone and I found out that the employee was looking for someone to check the security camera and when they found the person they asked them to check the camera and then they told me to open my backpack and then they swabbed it and they were looking for drugs, so isn't the security cameras always monitored?
