I woke up to 8 Amazon delivery guys on my street

This may be a dead topic, but I've been looking for a place to share this and I think this is the best place for it. I'll make it short. I woke up to a knock at the door, and usually it starts with one guy around 8 or 9. Today it was 8. Poor guys have to work in the cold, I sympathize. But why the hell are you sending 8 guys to this street? Most of my neighbors have Amazon boxes at their doors, so they're getting the stuff delivered. This is a street meant for 200 homes, and 8 guys delivered in the morning alone. The numbers don't add up. Can someone with more knowledge explain this to me?
