Hi everyone. I'd like to first say that I'm not trying to argue that a vote doesn't matter or that it's a useless thing to do. I just don't want people to feel pressured into voting if they don't want to or don't feel qualified to vote. Thanks for reading.

- Everyone has the right to vote, and that right was hard-fought. However, we also have the right to not vote, which is a decision that we can make for ourselves. I don't think we should be massively pressured into voting if we're apathetic or don't believe that a political viewpoint is a good thing or if we don't feel qualified to vote. Just because we have a right doesn't mean we have to use it, and we can openly discuss our reasons and believe them without being judged. If we choose to vote, that's great, but if we don't, we shouldn't be judged for it. I personally don't feel qualified to vote and I don't really believe in the value of voting. I choose not to vote because I don't believe I have a good enough understanding of politics to really make a decision, and that's okay. I can openly believe this. If you choose to vote, that's great.

- Voting is a responsibility, but it's also a right. I had to fight for a right to vote, but I can also fight for a right to not vote. When we talk about how great of a right voting is, we should also talk about how great of a right not voting is. We should be aware of both sides before making a decision. Just because we have a right doesn't mean we have to use it. Not voting shouldn't be looked down on. Just because we might not get what we want doesn't mean we should be forced to participate. If we don't want to participate, that's okay, and we shouldn't be judged for it.

- If we don't vote, that's okay. Everyone has different opinions about voting and that's great. Just because we might not want to participate doesn't mean we should be judged or convinced otherwise. It's okay to make your own decision, and it's also okay to openly discuss our views about voting. I personally believe that voting is not a good thing and I don't believe it's a good way to make decisions. I can openly say this even though it goes against what most people believe. I also don't think that we should be pressured into voting if we don't think it's a good thing. We can openly disagree with the majority and that's okay.
