She lied about being in a sorority

Took my gf (23) out to dinner last night, had a good time, and we were discussing sororities since she went to the university in my hometown. I was asking her about it and she admitted she was in one of the worst ones. I was like oh that sucks. Then she admitted something to me that really ticked me off. She said she was never in a sorority on that campus, she was in one on a different campus before transferring. I said then why are you talking about our campus’s Greek community, she said she wanted to seem cool. I didn’t know what to say. I felt violated.<br><br>This happened last night and I can’t stop thinking about it. I’m mad because she lied to me. I’m also mad because I want to know WHY. Is she just attention seeking? Is she stupid? Is she insane? Also, I’m mad because I didn’t call her out on it. I let it slide and just said okay and dropped it. But since then I’m mad that I didn’t call her out on it. I’m mad because I’m easily swayed by her and that won’t change and I should just move on. I’m mad I don’t have a backbone. I’m mad she’s not attracted to me. I’m mad she doesn’t like me. I’m mad.
