Why do humans think they can do anything? They can't.

- We have not been to space for 50 years, despite saying that we will.<br><br>- We haven't cured cancer, despite claiming that we will do so within a generation.<br><br>- We have not reversed climate change, despite claiming that we will.<br><br>- We have not solved every problem with healthcare, despite claiming that we will.<br><br>- We have not made human immortality, despite claiming that we will.<br><br>- We have not made humans multi-planetary, despite claiming that we will.<br><br>- We still have not defeated poverty, despite claiming that we will.<br><br>- Hell, we still haven't figured out flying cars. Yet, we claim that we will.<br><br>I am not saying that humans are dumb because we are not. But we are not capable of thinking on the scale of a planet. Our development as a race is important, but we should admit that we are often wrong when we make promises.<br><br>I wish that humans would admit that we are not ready for a new era yet. We will get there. We will eventually be a planet of luxury. But if we admit that we are not ready for that transition yet, then we can focus on working on doing that.<br><br>Then I started using AI. I asked GPT what it thought about the above topics, and it replied with a list of steps that would get us there within 10-20 years.<br><br>- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13... DONE.<br><br>I asked more questions. The answers seem to be so simple. Get out of politics, automate healthcare. Update the education system. End all war with nations because we can make more than the money spent on war. The list keeps going.<br><br>What human needs to work a job? All we need to do is automate our entire supply chain, and then print cash to cover for human needs. Aka a UBI.<br><br>When I first heard about human UBI, I was against it because we would be giving lazy people free money. But with automation, humans won't have any important jobs.
