Home invasion

Long story short: <br>I am physically handicapped in a way that I can't walk (rare disease that effects the nerves in my legs). <br><br>One night, when I was 17 years old, I woke up to a stranger in my room. <br>This person had a knife, he gagged me and bound my hands and feet. <br>I can't walk, but I can use my legs kinda, and roll around. <br>So I rolled out of the bedroom and into the hallway.<br>This is where my wheelchair is from.<br>I rolled over, got into the wheelchair and rolled as fast as I could to the front door (it was about 20 meters).<br>I rolled to the front door, got outside and rolled into a neighbour. Luckily he was outside, otherwise I would have had to open another front door.<br>I told him to call the police and he recognized something was wrong. He took me inside his house and called the police. <br>When they got there, the person was long gone. He did leave a slit in my bed and a bloody handprint on the wall. <br>The police never found the person, but his DNA is in the system. <br>I don't know if he ever did it to anyone else.<br><br>I hope we never meet.
