My world’s version of North America is filled with temperate rainforests. Would this be possible without any coastlines?

For this world, I’m imagining that most of North America is not mountainous, but rather flat and filled with rivers and other lakes and wetlands. I’m also imagining that North America is a large island, surrounded by water on all sides. I’m thinking that this version of North America would also be warm to hot, with no significant winter season in most areas. I would like this world’s North America to have a lot of rainfall, and for the climate to be similar to tropical islands, such as in the Pacific Ocean, so that the rainforests can cover the continent. This would likely include a lot of mist and fog.

Other continents in this world have cold climates, and so the North American continent in this world would be a rather significant departure from the climate of other continents. I would like the climate and geography of this world’s North America to be different from other continents in the world, but I’m not sure that this scenario is possible.

Would it be possible for this world’s North America to have a warm temperate climate with a lot of rainfall, despite the continent being an island? What factors would need to be in place in order to make this possible?
