Voting should be made illegal

I would like to preface this by saying that this is a very young idea and haven't put a lot of time into it. I have come to the conclusion that voting should be made illegal and I will list my reasons below. Before I start I would like to clarify that I believe in compulsory voting, everybody should vote but voting should be illegal. I'll get into what I mean in a second.<br><br>\---<br><br>\>People who don't know anything about the system vote for the very system they know nothing about<br><br>\>Most people vote for politicians based on whether they like the politician or not, it should be mandatory that you know what the politician wants to change before being allowed to vote<br><br>\><br><br>\>It should be illegal to vote, but compulsory to vote, for example if voting is compulsory but illegal then if everybody voted nothing would happen as it's illegal but if everybody didn't vote then nothing would happen as it's compulsory. This is what i meant in my intro by voting should be compulsory but illegal, everybody should vote but if everybody votes then nothing would happen.<br><br>\>To make voting legal you would have to apply, similar to a gun permit. Along with the application you should have to watch a series of videos detailing why voting is so important, how your vote will affect the future, the consequences of voting etc. Along with the video series there should be a few exams or tests you have to take to make sure you watched the videos. Once you watched the videos and passed the exams your voting permit should be mailed to you<br><br>\>To be eligible to vote for political office you should have to apply, online or in person, and along with the application you should have to watch a video or series of videos detailing everything on the politician's agenda. Along with the video you should also watch a video starring the politician himself detailing why he should be elected along with what he plans to do if he wins and how he'll uphold his promises. Along with the two videos there should be a series of exams, tests, interviews, etc. making sure that you know everything about the politician you're going to vote for. Once you watch and finish everything you will be mailed a voting permit that you can bring to the voting center. If you don't bring your voting permit you will not be allowed to vote. This should also be the case for the Trevino Exam as well<br><br>\>Mandatory education should be kept the way it is but along with the current curriculum there should be a few classes added. Along with science, math, history we should also have courses educating students on voting, how important it is, the benefits, the consequences. We should also have courses on Trevinoism along with how the Trevino will make sure that voting works properly <br><br>\>Once you're eligible to vote you should be mailed a list, similar to an electoral college list, of all the political offices that you're eligible for along with an in-depth description of what you're voting for and what the people running for office want to change. Along with this list there should be a "how to vote" guide, a list of the nearest voting centers. You should also receive a DVD with the video i described earlier detailing the politician's platform, along with a video from the politician himself along with a few extras along with the video<br><br>\>Voting centers should also have these guides along with everything else along with an online website for those who want to vote digitally<br><br>\>The Trevino should be ran by Trevinoists<br><br>\>The Trevinoists will apply for the job. In their application they'll have to write a short paragraph detailing how they will make sure that the system works correctly and runs perfectly. This should be a mandatory paragraph, if you don't write your paragraph in the correct length then your application should immediately be declined. There should also be a few exams or tests making sure that the person fully understands voting, Trevinoism, and Trevinoists along with how important the system is and the consequences of the system not working properly. Once they've passed the exams they should be mailed a DVD along with a bunch of documents along with a few books detailing everything they need to know. Once they finish reading and watching everything there should be a few more exams and tests along with an interview. Once they've finished everything then they'll be mailed a permit that they can use to apply for a high-ranking Trevinoist job. <br><br>\>The head of the Trevino, known as the High Trevinoist, should have to apply for the job. In their application they'll have to write a very long paragraph detailing how they will make sure that the Trevino runs flawlessly. A minimum of 700 words should be the paragraph length, if it's below 700 words or if there is no paragraph in the application then it should immediately be declined. Along with the paragraph there should be a few exams, tests, and interviews. Once they've finished the exams, tests, and interviews they should be mailed a DVD that they must watch, along with the DVD there should be a few documents, books, and courses that they have to finish before they'll be mailed a permit that they can use to apply for the High Trevinoist position. <br><br>\>The High Trevinoist should have a team of people controlling the Trevino along with them. Along with the High Trevinoist, the people controlling the Trevino should have to apply for the job, in their application they'll have to write a paragraph detailing how they will make sure that the Trevino runs properly. Along with the paragraph there should be a few exams, tests, and interviews. Once they finish the exams, tests, and interviews they should be mailed a DVD detailing everything about the Trevino, along with the DVD there should be a few documents along with a few courses that they'll have to finish before they'll be mailed a permit that they can use to apply for a high-ranking Trevinoist job<br><br>\>The High Trevinoist should have a council of people who advise him on decisions. Along with the council, the High Trevinoist should have a few people that advise him on decisions, along with the people advising him, the High Trevinoist should also have a few people that make decisions for him. Along with the people who make decisions for the High Trevinoist, the High Trevinoist should also have a team of people that oversee the people advising him, the council advising him, and the people making decisions for him. Along with the High Trevinoists team there should also be a team for the council, advising people, and decision-making people. Each of their teams should have a few people advising them, making decisions for them, and a council advising them. Along with the High Trevinoist there should also be a few people who advise the High Society of Trevinoists along with a council who advises the High Society of Trevinoists.
